Loved the food. Cozy place, busy so order a table up front, and good food.

I went to this restaurant for lunch after visiting the museum and I was impressed! Very friendly and attentive staff and great food. I had Kartoffelsuppe (potato soup) and the Schwarzwälder Pfannkuchen (Black Forest Pancake) and both were excellent! I'll definitely eat here again and highly recommend the place to all pancake fans!

The onion soup as a starter was really tasty. Great idea to serve these in a loaf of bread. I was also really glad to have had the soup in advance. The large pancake was really a bit too small for me as an experienced man.

The museum is quite clear and easy to navigate even with children. There are a lot of playgrounds available. There's a restaurant there. I won't rate it here because it's not part of the museum but has an internal entrance. This much can be said; it was not bad. There is a toy museum here. Lots of things from before where I said "... I had that too..." Highly recommended. A large H0 train from the 1950s runs on the third floor three times a day. It was a beautiful day.

We read about the so-called free pancakes for children here. We were there with a child (8), the service didn't ask about their age and didn't inform us. Therefore the advice is to ask about it directly. We paid for the children's pancakes. The quality is fine. A large bottle of mineral water costs €5.90, a Hefeweizen €5.10. You have to wait behind a barrier tape until you are escorted to a table.

Insanely delicious pancakes and the like in a beautiful, family-friendly atmosphere. Particularly noteworthy is the free pancake for all children up to 8 years old :-) My little grandson really enjoyed it. We will be back!
